The professional version of the application is tailored for serious navigation purposes, offering comprehensive data sets for the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, 57 standard navigational stars, as well as Polaris. This advanced version retains full functionality for extended periods in remote locations without network connectivity.

This application accurately computes the precise altitudes required for celestial navigation at sea or on land when assuming a correct GPS position. With no need for manual paperwork or correction tables, the app automatically incorporates various corrections such as index error, system time error, dip of the horizon, refraction adjustments, temperature and pressure corrections for refraction, altitude above sea level, parallax, and gravitational deflection of the vertical. Notably, the inclusion of gravitational deflection of the vertical corrects for discrepancies up to 2 nautical miles, a feature unique to this celestial navigation tool. In cases where the GPS position is inaccurate due to Spoofing at sea, observations will not align. By utilizing this app along with periodic sextant sightings, seafarers can effectively identify GPS spoofing occurrences.

All ephemeris data is derived from JPL numerical integrations governing lunar and planetary motions identical to those employed by the official Nautical Almanac and Astronomical Almanac. Emphasizing precision, all coordinates are accurate to one second of arc while displayed altitudes retain accuracy up to a tenth of a minute of arc.
